Swellendam restaurants

Where to eat in Swellendam

The famous fire-baked 'roosterkoeks' at the Old Gaol Restaurant
There are numerous restaurants in Swellendam of varying character and quality.

The ones which follow are those to which we regularly send our guests. We closely monitor the performance of these restaurants and canvass the opinions of our guests after each visit.

We regularly eat at all the restaurants we list on our website. However, there are many restaurants at which we have not eaten and, therefore, which are not listed, so discerning surfers should not see our list as comprehensive or fully representative of what is available.

It is merely a selection of establishments of which we have some knowledge, and the list will change and grow as we are able to widen our gastronomic experience.

We take no responsibility for the experience you may have when visiting the restaurants listed, but we hope that you will enjoy them as much as we do.
